Week 4-3 Journal Response
One of the scariest things I've ever had to go through was finding out my baby sister was born with Hydrocephalus. Its basically when you have water on your brain. She had to have surgery the day she was born, ever since then she has had a tube in her head going all the way down her body. The doctors said she was going to be very slow her entire life but she is actually the top in her school. My entire family is very proud of her.

Week 4-2 Journal Response
If I could think of my favorite place or moment using all five senses, I would definitely think of my childhood memories living my moms house. I remember playing with my older sister Mariah in the backyard on our swing, the smell of my mom cooking in the kitchen, my sister pushing me as high as she could on the swing, the sound of us screaming and running around from each other having fun, playing tag, then going in for dinner, watching our favorite cartoons, then both of us falling asleep by the fire place.

PE Written Assignments- Baseball
The inventor the game of baseball is Abner Doubleday in 1839 in Cooperstown, New York during the summer. The modern baseball field was invented in 1845. It became very popular in the United States during the 19th century. The game had many different names for it. Such as "townball", "base", or "baseball". The first baseball field was held on the Elysian Fields, in Hoboken, New Jersey. The most similar sport to baseball is softball. Now a days it is most common for girls to play baseball and girls to play softball. But even though the sport is similar, the rules are different in many ways. For example, baseball is over hand when you pitch, the field is bigger, most likely has grass in the infield. For softball, the field is much smaller, the entire infield in dirt, and you pitch underhand. My favorite baseball team is the Oakland A's. I have been a fan since I was a baby.

PE Week 9 Sports Research - Softball
Softball has always been a passion of mine ever since I was 7. I am a pitcher and short stop. Those are my favorite positions because that's where most the action happens. One thing I enjoy most about playing softball is the feeling it gives me, it always takes my mind off things and I always play my hardest because its what I love to do. It was invented in 1887 in Chicago as an indoor game, it was first called indoor baseball. The name softball was first given to the game in 1926. The sport is basically hitting the ball that someone is pitching to you, and the goal is to stop the ball and get it to the base before the batter gets there. The positions on the field are pitcher, catcher, first base, second base, short stop, third base, left field, center field, and right field. Softball has 7 innings rather than 9 like baseball. The two types of softball are slow pitch and fast pitch, I have played fast pitch all my life. This is definitely a sport I would like my future kids to play or even baseball.

Week 3-4 Journal Response
My philosophy of life is going with my instinct. I strongly believe in karma, and everything happens for a reason. I believe bad things happen to bad people and good things happen to good people. My favorite saying is "There is always sunshine after it rains". This means that every time something bad happens, a good thing is coming your way.

Journal Response 3.3
If I could name a time when I did something I thought was impossible for me I would definitely choose the time when I went on a bike ride from my house in Antelope, to downtown Sacramento. I was about 8 years old. I can still remember the pain in my legs I had once I got home. But it was worth it because I was with my family. My older sister and I were in the back most of the time, until we got about half way there my mom was in the back for the rest of the way. Once we got to downtown, we had a nice family picnic, we decided to lay under the tree for and hour and enjoy the beautiful weather, then got right back up and went back home. If I could, I would definitely do it again because it was a great workout and trip to take!
