Week 7-1 Journal Response

A surprising moment that still today makes me and laugh and brings me joy is probably the day I went to Prom. I went with my best friend and we had so much fun. I wish I could go back to that day. I had a blast!

Week 6-4 Journal Response

My goals for this term is getting all A's and B's and finish all my work. My plans for achieving these goals are staying focused and having my school work be my main priority. To motivate someone you need to reward them. I also like being rewarded so I think that will help me achieve my goals.

Week 6-3 Journal Response

My New Year's Resolution is to be graduated, licensed, and have a job by the end of this year. I am going to try a lot of new things this year. starting with eating better and taking better care of myself. My plan for the next 30 days are starting to go to the gym and get my body in shape.

Week 5-4 Journal Response

"Fast and Furious" star Paul Walker died in a car accident at the age of 40 on Saturday, November 30, 2013. His friend Rodas also passed away at the age of 38. Apparently both deaths were accidental. The car crash was in a limited addition Porsche, they took a spin and crashed into a tree and a concrete lamppost. When the Los Angeles Sherriff Dept. arrived to the scene, the car was in flames and the two men inside were burned beyond recognition. Many fans were devastated, but they weren't the only ones that lost him. He was a father, husband, and uncle.  

Week 5-2 Journal Response

I believe it is important for us to celebrate Thanksgiving as a nation because it is our way of thanking everyone who has ever helped us, or our nation. On Thanksgiving, my entire family comes over to my house to celebrate and eat lots of food and just be together as a family.

Week 5-1 Journal Response

Yesterday was Veterans day, which means everyone should be thankful for all the people that serve for our country and we should show our appreciation for everyone who have, and are still serving. I would like to thank my grandpa for fighting in the Vietnam war. He passed away a few years ago but still till this day I am proud to say he fought for our country.

Week 4-4 Journal Response

If I could name one person whom I admire the most, it would be my mom. She is such a strong hard working women who cares so much for her family. I want to be exactly like her when I have my own family because I can tell she loves all of us very much and she would do anything to keep us safe and happy. I couldn't thank her enough for all that she has done.
